Characteristics: Like all Romulea, this species has a subterranean tuber and aerial leaves; these leaves are very slender and acute, arranged in a single plane forming an arc over the ground. Flowers are white with yellow stamens. Can be distinguished from Romulea columnae by its leaves (this latter species at times forms white flowers) which are filiform and grey coloured with reddish tones, while Romulea columnae are more compact, wide and an intense green in colour. Flowers later than the other species mentioned, in April-May.
