Leaves very narrow, slightly broader toward the apex, flat, and hairy only in the lower half. Inflorescence glomerular, terminal on the stems; bracts ovate, broader than the leaves, ciliate along the margins, and strongly narrowed at the apex. Calyx hairy, with ciliate teeth; corolla whitish, with short hairs, exceeding the bracts

Observations: Coexists with Thymus vulgaris and Th. zygis, with which it hybridizes
